ULI JON ROTH Jams With DEEP PURPLE In Cardiff

Legendary guitarist Uli Jon Roth joined DEEP PURPLE on stage at Cardiff International Arena in the U.K. Sunday night (Nov. 14) for the encore of "Black Night", according to the PURPLE fan site TheHighwayStar.com. As previously reported, former DEEP PURPLE keyboardist Jon Lord joined the band on stage at the Wembley Arena in London on Saturday (Nov. 13) for a rendition of the same track.

DEEP PURPLE frontman Ian Gillan and producer Michael Bradford (KID ROCK, last DP album, "Bananas") are planing to work in February on ideas for the group's next album. Gillan will also begin work on a new solo CD.
